October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Domestic violence is a traumatic experience that affects people of all ages, genders, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our shelter provides a lifeline to those who are trying to escape abusive situations and start anew. We offer a comprehensive range of services to our clients including: crisis intervention, legal advocacy, housing search and transportation assistance. We also provide referrals and help clients apply for benefits and other services as needed.
However, our shelter relies solely on donations and grants to continue its operations. We would not be able to offer these vital services without community support. Your donation, regardless of size, can make a significant difference in the lives of victims and survivors of domestic violence. Your contribution can provide a safe and secure environment for someone who has experienced unimaginable trauma and abuse.
We hope that you will consider making a donation to our organization today. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence.
